The quilting is complete. The quilt was washed, dried and steamed flat. Now it's time for color application using colored pencils.
My mistake was that I used 100% unbleached cotton batting as the bottom layer of my double batting and the quilt was washed after quilting, the brown spots are showing on my quilt.
This quilt was colored, but the brown spots bothered me too much, so I covered them up by applying color to the entire background.
Paula's Star by Irena Bluhm and Paula Platter

Paula Platter paper pieced the star in the center and appliqued it to my quilt top. The quilt was finished by me as shown above. Paula Platter is an excellent award winning quilter who lives in Mead, Oklahoma.
