This quilt is my second quilt done. It was a quilt guild ruffle quilt, so I decided to tackle the challenge and do some custom quilting on that one! Yeah..like I was really ready, but I did it anyway!
This quilt was done just a little over two months after my longarm quilting machine was delivered.
My longarm quilting machine was delivered on November 2004 and just few weeks before that I already had some experience in long arm quilting under my belt. After just one month of doing pantographs at the local quilt shop, I was anxious to take a dive just to see whether I would be able to do freemotion quilting as I was fascinated with.
This custom quilting turned out OK, but if I had to do it again, it would look different.
I did the best I could back then, however.
