Believe it or not, I can do piecing! I pieced this quilt after I stopped working for the local quilt shop and before I purchased my longarm quilting machine. It was my last pieced quilt out of the very few that I have done over few years.
I loved these fabrics I picked for the piecing, but what was the point of piecing this quilt? I still don't understand why I did that. Once I realized that, I just slapped a couple of borders onto the quilt to make it larger. At this point I was tired of piecing!
At least I had some fun with quilting this top. It was my own quilt, so I was not so uptight about the quilting and it came out just fine, I guess..
After this quilt was complete, I needed to tackle the next challenge and start quilting on a customer's quilt! Oh boy! I have to manage it somehow...
