This quilt presented quite a challenge to [a three months into longarm quilting] newbie, but I have managed it somehow. The entire star was stiched in the ditch with clear thread. I never used it again on any of my own quilts. No need to, as all of my quilts were made for shows. The customer wanted simple star designs repeated in the background and some ruler work, so it was not that difficult to execute using my Gammill Workstation and a Gam Guide straight edge ruler.
I am not so sure, but this quilt could of been one of the last quilts quilted for customers.
As soon as I won three awards with my very first two quilts in June 2005, I decided to quit working on customers quilts.
